This is my wife Edith Bratt, well Edith Tolkien. She was The Lúthien to my Beren. When we were walking along the country side, she would sing and dance. I fell in love with her when I was eighteen, she was older than I and wasn't Catholic. I was forbidden to see her until I was old enough to marry. She was already betrothed to someone else when I met up with her again, but she ended it with him and married me, after becoming a Catholic.
